Trasfor has developed in the last years several products for the renewable energy applications.
The know-how that Trasfor has built up in 40 years of experience designing transformers and reactors has lead the company to study specific solutions in order to meet the standard requested on those markets.
Both in the low voltage applications with the use of impregnated technology and in the medium voltage applications with the cast resin transformers we developed products able to match the strict requirements on dimensions, losses and costs.
Trasfor design team has studied dedicated software to calculate core and coil additional losses in order to guarantee absolute reliability to the designed products.
Trasfor low voltage transformers and inductors are inside many inverters used in the conversion of wind or solar energy; dedicated medium voltage cast resin solutions are inside the wind towers.
